Morning Task


Please have a go at todays arithmetic task. You may take as long as you need on the questions.



This week in maths, we will be learning about money. 


For maths today, we will be using our knowledge of addition and subtraction to give change. Please watch the video and complete the worksheets.






For your English task, we will be focusing on developing our comprehension skills.


Please take your time to read the comprehension. It is about Emperor Penguins.  After you have read the text, please answer the questions. Your answers need to be written in sentences, unless the question states otherwise.


Remember to underline the information in the text before writing your answer!



For our Geography topic this half term, we will be looking at different aspects from around the world. 


Today, we are going to research and learn about Rainforests. We will be learning about the different layers of the Rainforest. Please watch the video to learn about the layers.




After, please read the PowerPoint and then complete the worksheet. There is also a challenge sheet too.



This week in EGPS, we are going to be learning about subordinating conjunctions.


A subordinating conjunction is a joining word. It joins two clauses together. 


Please use the BBC Bitesize website to learn about subordinating conjunctions. There is also a video of a song below to help you remember the subordinating conjunctions.
