Chapter 13 is split into two videos due to the phone ringing- sorry!

Today you are going to choose one of the chapters that we have already listened to and create a story map of that chapter.

A story map is a summarised plan, which includes all of the key information from that chapter. The information is given in chronological order. See the example below:

This example is of the Gingerbread Man story- all key parts of the story are drawn with only key words being included.

Choose a chapter that we have listened to and try and create your own.

Maths

Starter- Complete the mental arithmetic questions. Remember to set yourself a timer of 10 minutes and use the methods you have been shown in class.

Yesterday you started interpreting data from a range of graphs. Today you are going to continue with this but are going to be estimating some of your answers based on the information given. Use yesterdays PowerPoint if you need to have a refresh of the different graphs and charts.

Art

Look back at the selection of artwork by William Morris that we have been studying over the last couple of weeks.

- What piece do you like?

- Why?

- What style have you noticed?

- What does it represent?

- What colours are being used?

- What are the significance of these colours?

Activity- Create your own piece of artwork based on the style of William Morris. You may choose to use colours, pastels or paints. I am looking for you to include lots of detail in your design.

P.E.

Wednesdays would usually be our P.E. days. If the weather is nice you could choose to do some exercise outdoors. This may include playing on the trampoline, going on a bike ride or playing a sport with a family member. You can also use one of the following links:
