Caring for Others

This week the children have been working hard to complete a display detailing how they 'Care for Others'. Due to the children's hard work before Christmas making reindeer hot chocolates, they made a fantastic amount of money during our Christmas performance. As a class, we decided that some of this money should be used towards a good cause. We decided that we would donate some of this money raised to the charity Crisis- who used this money to ensure that a homeless person would receive a Christmas dinner on Christmas day. The children spoke with maturity about the difficulties that some people faced and I was extremely proud of the children for making such a wonderful decision to help someone in need.
