Dear Parents/ Carers

Thank you for all of your support over the last couple of weeks. Homework will start to be sent online, sometimes on Purple Mash and other times on the school website. I will keep you all updated over Marvellous Me and direct you to the homework for the week. I will also send home the children's login details for Purple Mash in case anyone has lost or forgotten theirs.

Please continue to encourage your child to log on and access books on Bug Club weekly. This will be very beneficial to your child's learning.

Homework

For your homework task this week, please complete the task on Purple Mash. You can find the task on the 2Dos section. It is to research 3 attractions in or around Nottingham. These attractions can link to Robin Hood. Please write a short description about each one and add in a picture. Your homework is due in on Friday 16^th October.

Big Write

Big Write will be on Friday 16^th October. For our Big Write, we will be writing a fractured story of Robin Hood. We will be writing the introduction to our story next week in our English lessons, but please think about the plot of your story.

• What is might happen to your characters?
• Will there be a problem?
• How might the problem be resolved?
• How will the story end?
