Sound

This half term, we have been learning all about sound and how sound travels. It has been so fun to experiment with a range of musical instruments to determine why the volume is determined by the energy used on the instrument to produce different sized vibrations. Bigger vibrations result in bigger sounds and the children learnt that sound is measured in decibels (dB).
