I hope that you are all safe and well.
Thank you for all of your hard work over the last couple of weeks on Purple Mash and thank you for the photos that you are sending me of your incredible work. This week is R.E week. Take a look at the exciting activities we have created.
This week I have set some tasks for you to complete on Active Learn. These include science activities and grammar and spelling activities. A range of books are also available on the website. Passwords were sent out a couple of weeks ago over Marvellous Me but please email me if you need a reminder.
I know that lots of you have been practising the songs for the Acorn Theatre video. Remember the videos are due in on the 8th July. I am looking forward to watching the video that is created.
Also, take a look at Mrs Green's entry to the Clever Crafts competition https://www.st-lukes.notts.sch.uk/stream/news/full/1/-// isn't it fantastic? You still have time to enter the competition. I know that we have lots of children who enjoy art in Welbeck Class, so I am sure you can create some incredible pieces of work.
Finally, I know lots of Year 6's are preparing for their move up to secondary school. I have updated the transition page on our class page with extra information that I have received from Portland. Portland are holding virtual taster lessons over the month of July to help you understand what learning is like in secondary school. Hopefully, you will find this helpful. Please let me know if you would like any extra information and I will try my best to find out for you.
Again, thank you for all of your hard work. I am missing you all so much!

The website below will take you directly to their website.
This website is aimed at Year 5 children, giving them daily grammar activities to complete based on animals. There is a video for each activity for the children to watch and a range of activities to complete. This may also be a good website for Year 6 children to use to recap on previous learning.
