Information for contact with school about COVID-19 test results during the Christmas period

Information for contact with school about COVID-19 test results during the Christmas period

For the six days that follow the final teaching day, (19th December-24th December) staff will  check emails for notifications of any children or staff members who have a positive result to a Covid-19 test. This will then allow us to trace and notify any members of the school community who need to self-isolate. As the new term starts on the 4th January, the office email will also be checked again, on the 2nd and 3rd of January, to establish if children / staff members are now positive or self-isolating.

On the days stated above the school email office@st-lukes.notts.sch.uk will be checked between 9.00am and 10.00am.  Only messages regarding COVID-19 test results should be sent to the office over the Christmas break in order to allow staff to only deal with work related to contact tracing during their Christmas break. Parents / carers will be notified by ParentMail if children have been in close contact with somebody who has tested positive and need to self-isolate.
