• Last day on the farm

  We had a truly magical last day at Rand Farm.  After our final morning of farm jobs and yet again enjoying a delicious cooked breakfast we began our last activities. 

   

  The children enjoyed learning all about the products made from cows milk and tried their hand at a little butter making, oh and of course a little tasting too!

  After our Christmas party lunch we had the most exciting afternoon at Rand Farm's Christmas Experience.  The children made reindeer food, wrote and posted letters to Father Christmas, played Christmas games, decorated gingerbread biscuits in Mrs Claus's kitchen and even got to visit Santa himself.  What a fabulous way to finish off our residential trip.

   

  A massive well done and thank you to all of the children that took part in this visit.  You were amazing.

  The children are on their way back from Rand Farm.

   

  They are due to arrive back at school at 3.35pm.

• Another Busy Day On The Farm

  After a great night's sleep the children have had another fabulous day here at Rand Farm.

   

  We started early this morning with our farm jobs before a lovely full English breakfast.  We then had so much fun making our own sausages to eat for lunch.  We also had time to spend our money in the gift shop.

   

  We returned to the kitchen this afternoon to make carrot cupcakes and also had a ride around the farm on the tractor trailer ride.

   

  After another three course evening meal we were treated to an excellent talk and tasting session by Dennett's Ice Cream Company.  We sampled their delicious vanilla ice cream, raspberry sorbet and raspberry frozen yogurt.  We are feeling very full now!

   

  The children are now finishing their day off with a run around in the indoor playbarn.

  

• Thursday at Rand Farm

  The children all enjoyed a good sleep last night and have been busy doing farm jobs this morning before breakfast. They are now busy making sausages and looking in the gift shop. Photographs will be added later.

  

• Rand Farm

  We have had a super first day here at Rand Farm.  The children have been very busy since arriving this morning with lots of farm jobs.  We had a fantastic lesson this afternoon all about the importance of bees. We even got to taste a selection of honey and made our own candles.

  There were more jobs to do on the farm before shutting the barn doors and putting the animals to bed.

  
  We really enjoyed our three course evening meal and are having a play in the indoor playbarn before our bedtime.

  

• Rand Farm

  The children arrived safely at Rand Farm and look to have quickly sorted out their sleeping arrangements. They are all happy and off on a tour of the farm following a health and safety talk. Soon it will be time for dinner and then the start of the afternoon's exciting activity. More photographs will be added later.
