• Take Five

  Last term the staff were excited to be involved in Take Five training and this term the children are being introduced to Take Five by the adults in school. Take Five at school is a safe, universal, resilience and capacity building skill set which is tailored to the needs of the school and children. It is focused upon breathing, grounding and awareness and further information can be found by following the link to the Each Amazing Breath website. http://eachamazingbreath.com/  We are receiving funding to enable us to participate in Take Five as part of the work of the ‘Together for Worksop’ project. I am sure your children will tell you more about Take Five and we hope that eventually some of our children will lead the Take Five practices as ambassadors.

  

• Fantastic Attendance!

  This week three classes have 100% attendance and the other two classes have 98%, this is brilliant! Over the Autumn Term 48 children had 100% attendance so a big well done to them. The children in all classes who attended school every day last half term will receive their attendance certificate next week if they have not already received it and a photograph of each class will be displayed in the school hall again.
